Who we are

Nestled in the heart of River Heights, La Cantina di Mona Lisa has been serving authentic Italian cuisine for over 40 Years. Mona Lisa was opened in 1983 by Giuseppe Grande. In later years he was joined by his wife Alfina and together they built Mona Lisa for decades throughout all its different phases into the cozy restaurant it is today, renowned for its warm atmosphere and time-honoured recipes. Today, their daughter Elena and her husband, David, carry on the tradition. Mona Lisa has become a beloved eatery to many families to celebrate milestones and share in memories. 

With decades of experience and a passion for quality it  remains a go-to destination for genuine taste and feel of Italian culture.
